Not Always So – Shunryu Suzuki

Another book like beginners mind that is a collection of his talks from the San Francisco Zen Center and Tassajara. I am a Suzuki junkie. He spoke in a way that did not mislead you into thinking that that he was holding up something, like show-and-tell, to symbolize the “zen experience”<a href=”Photobucket“> whatever that is, but instead honestly pointed at what was beyond words without bringing too much attention to the fact that doing so. At the same time you are left with the feeling that you know what he is talking about. One thing is certainly true, he was and is a unique, beloved teacher who remains fresh with each read.
